Beta Tester Request

IOXperts is seeking beta testers for PowerPC and Intel support of the latest Logitech QuickCams, as well as any USB Video class-compliant cameras in the IOXWebcam driver.

About the Beta

Currently, we support the following cameras:

  • Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro (new version)
  • Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP
  • Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000
  • Logitech QuickCam Fusion

Note: Older versions of the QuickCam for Notebooks Pro, Sphere and Orbit are already supported by the IOXperts Webcam driver.

Important: You must read the release notes for the driver you are testing to see if it is safe to use your camera on Intel. The new Logitech cameras are supported on both Intel and PowerPC, but there are potential endian issues with other cameras we support on intel. All cameras we support are safe to use on PowerPC based Macs.

This beta supports OS X 10.2.8, 10.3 (Panther), and 10.4 (Tiger)

Note: We do not provide cameras. You will need your own camera for testing.
